Hi,
I have an Readboy running Windows CE 5. It is an handhelp with a screen
that can be flipped. I want to use it as an e-reader to read .pdf's and .epub's.
I read that the way to install new software is download .cab files and not the .exe
and install them via activesync 3.8. I tried activesync 3.8 with no luck, device cannot be found.

So my questions are:
- Does someone have the software to install and read my files
- Does someone have an how-to regarding connecting the device to my pc and install and update
the software on it i.e.: Internet explorer and such.
- Can my device run other OS'es like Google Android or an Linux flavour?

My device has an ARM processor.

Thanks in advance!

Fehmie

For CE 5, I'd use AS 4.5.

Hi Thanks for your reply.

Tried it with no luck. Device is not recognized.

Any other options? Perhaps suggestions for .cab files for the software itself?

Regards,

Fehmie

Hello, just wondering which Readboy you have. Is it the H30?

If so would you mind letting us know where you got it and whether you'd recommend it?

It looks like a knockoff of the Sony Mylo 2 (with a nicer keyboard and no orange accents) and if priced competitively could make a really appealing device.

Um, they really look alike. I wished my Mylo COM-2 had CE.
