| I have a Psion Netbook Pro that I want to sync with my PC. I have the USB sync cable. The manual states that I need to sync via the serial connection first. Do I need the elusive rs232 cable for the initial sync or can I use the USB sync cable? I have tried the USB cable already with no success. I have tried the "sync to com 1", USB cradle options and have gotten nowhere. I am using activesync 3.8. I have a number of other devices and have been able to sync without many issues. I am at my wits end ( and it didn't take long to get there!) and need any help I can get.
Thanks in Advance

| You can sync the first time using infrared as well. See this page for details:

If your PC doesn't have an IR port, you can use a USB-to-IR adapter. They're pretty inexpensive and easy to find. | |
