Good wlan card to use with 620lx

I just discovered this wonderful site which caused me to dig out my old beloved 620lx.
I installed SP1, and network service pack and tried out a U.S. Robotics 2210 WLAN card.

However the device is not reacting at all to the card. Also the card isn't doing anything, no lights.
It isn't listed in your compatibility list, but I thought there would at least be a driver prompt. (I hope nothing is broken there)

Considering not reacting to incompatible cards is normal on my device (please confirm if possible), I wondered what's a good (and cheap) wlan card to use with my HPC

I don't hear mention of your installing any WiFi driver. (The service packs don't include WiFi card drivers themselves.)

Oh, sorry I'm stupid, my WLAN card actually is in the HCL and 100% not compatible.

I'm using a Netgear MA401 PC card that I share between my 360LX, 620LX and NEC MobilePro 880 - it's in the HCL, along with a link to drivers, and works reasonably well.

I always recommend an ORiNOCO card under the Agere or Lucent brand name (not the later Proxim one). Mine works flawlessly on almost all my devices from your 620LX's Windows CE 2.0 all the way up to Windows CE 4.2 .net. (You'll find it in the HCL too.)
