What driver could i use?


Lucent Tecnologies Orinoco Silver 802.11b PC Card (PC24E-H-FC)

I downloaded drivers from Proxim and downloaded wince.zip
Proxim ORiNOCO and Lucent ORiNOCO/ WaveLAN 802.11b

I suppose i must use WinCe300 driver

Or You have maybe another link or suggestion?

Forget the Proxim driver. Go here:

Click on the 7.82.881 link under Windows CE 3.00. Inside the ZIP package you download will be another ZIP file called Inflated.zip. Unzip that, and copy the file inside it named wireless.SA1100.CAB onto the 720. Then double-tap on that CAB file on the 720 to install it.

After fighting with connection my access point (Problem Could not estabilished connection with serwer)

I see DHCP option in routers must be disabled
Ip must be static and asigned to Mac Adress by router (any router)

And ok working

I heard it is next possibility edit by registry in Jornada change some keys and do the same.

If You now where and How please give information

I'm using an old Dell C800 here, but this could apply. After an hour or two of hunting for drivers for XP, and no success with the above method either, I just plugged the card into a different slot. XP then autodetected the drivers immediately and connected within seconds. Lucky me

Thanx, but that won't help Jornada 720 users much, since that device has only one PC card slot.
