NEC MobilePro 400....found in thrift store..value??

I found the subject mobilepro in a thrift store for $8 (but haven't bought it yet)...includes serial cable, cradle, box, and flyers. Is it worth the $ to buy it?

I spend almost that on a pack of smokes a day. I'd buy anything electronic for $8 regardless if it is useful or not. Worse case, ebay it for $20 and make a few bucks.

Don't you know smoking's bad for you (and your H/PCs), RTFM?

The 400 is a bit of a collector's item. I'd say it's easily worth $8.
