Greetings all.
I am rather new to the HPC world, and am enjoying the ride thus far.
I have an NEC MobilePro 900C (uses CE.NET 4.2, as you may know).
So, for those of you experienced in this OS, my queries:

1) is it at all possible to minimize the icons viewed on the desktop (smaller size)?
2) is it possible to *make* shortcut icons for apps you have installed?
3) is it possible to set folder actions to multiple views instead of using the same window?

Many thanks in advance for any help offered.
Best regards,
DLC

1) Requires rewriting the explorer.exe, so no. But if that's critical, you may use Nyditot Virtual Display to emulate a higher resolution and thus reducing icons in size. This will, of course, affect anything and rise the CPU load.
2) Yes, it is. With the default explorer copy a file and in the required folder (\Windows\Desktop for desktop and \Windows\Start Menu for... start menu) select "Paste shortcut from "Edit" menu.
3) There is the setting to open each folder in a separate window, but that's not very comfortable to use (too many windows ). Have you tried Total Commander? It has two views.

For smaller desktop icons, you can use a desktop replacement utility like SQ:
