| Hello all,
I had a question re: CE 4.2.net and its Date and Time CP.
Suddenly, my time zones have disappeared with the exception of any of the GMT listings for overseas (about 9 of them, none of them USA-indicative).
The missing ones have been replaced by a batch of selections, all listed as:
cplmain.cpl, #34xxx (xxx=incremental digits)
What is this, and how do I get the regular listings back. Do I need to do a hard reset, or is there a temp file I can trash (presuming a preference corruption of sorts)?
Thanks in advance for helping me continue to learn this little OS!
Best regards,

| It sounds like the registry file may have become corrupted in some way as the CE 4 timezone data is stored in there.
If you have a backup, I would suggest restoring it, otherwise you will need to get an export of the listings and re-import it. | |

| Out of curiosity, what file represents these listings, if I wanted to export them out of a healthy registry?
Thank you for the advice,

| What you need is an uncorrupted version of the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Time Zones. Try this one, exported from my Fujitsu Stylistic CT2020 (also a CE 4.2 .net device ): Attachments ---------------- Time Zones.reg (42KB - 7 downloads) | |
