My last though is I seem to remember ezbackup taking backups of the databases as it asks if you want to overwrite them when restoring. If someone could take a backup of just the pim databases on a freshly re-set Sig3 or similar then maybe you could try using the ezbackup software to load the blank databases onto your device.

You won't find it on the net. Some kind soul on here will need to do it for you.

If I find time that I can hard re-set my sig 3 and sort it out again I will do one...

Cheers

Hi John, thnx again mate.....

If you have time to so so, and could send me the files, i would be honored... then I can try to use those
to get the GEMini PIM suite working.

I am also researching the possibility to downgrade the simpad to CE3 (hpc2000) since according to my op-
inion, CE3 (hpc2000) has more to offer based on office and pim apps).

But, i don't have the serial cable (even if, i won't be able to use it, since my laptop' s don't have a serial
port anymore so I am trying to to the same with a usb connection, but no luck yet

I understand MSCDEX....

But is it worth? I not only have to "find" the serial cable for the SL4 and buy it, but also
get me one of these USB<>SERIAL adapter cables.

So, i understand your idea, however, it will cost be about 100 EURO also...

Cheap ass? I know, that's why I am dutch hahaha -lol-

I give it a thought.. but...
