Some cab files not written directly for Windows CE but WM can't be installed because of some checks. How can this be hacked and force installation?
You never know, but it could work even if not for Win CE!

I just extract them on the PC using MSCEInf, which places the files in their proper folders for me.

  • Open msceinf

  • Open a cab by dragging and dropping one onto the msceinf window or by clicking the "CAB" icon in the upper left corner

  • Click the folder icon with the zipper on it -- the 7th icon from the left

  • Select a folder to save the folder structure to

  • ???

  • Profit!
