| Is there any way to be able to use YouTube or The YouTube Mobile site on a NEC900c running Cmonex v2 OS? Are there plug-ins required or any drivers or a certain media player? If any one can help please let me know.
Thank you! |

| Recently Youtube stopped supporting Flash7.
But a new way of browsing youtube appeared: CorePlayer. It has a built-in plugin for searching Youtube and watching movies in different resolutions. |

| I assume you're talking about the commercial version and not TCPMP. |

| Yeap.
Also, it's theoretically possible to find FlashLite 3.1 and install it on MP900 with some hacks. FlashLite 3.1 ~ Flash 8. |

| It's there, $30. You will need the Window Mobile/PocketPC ARM version.

After you install it you should go to Settings and enter you login, password and desired video quality. You should also install GAPI to gain some more perfomance. |

| I installed release 1.3.2 build 6909 for arm. I had to hack it because it is for Win Ce 5. It starts, I set it up and seems to conect to network, in fact if I search something it gives back some video, but if I tap on one of them video does not start. I have installed GAPI 4.04 too.
Can you explain me how to load and play video please. |

| I guess you need to double-tap it or press enter after selecting one. |

I did it but does not playback anything.
Did you need to hack it too?
Suggets some option to set.

| The only way to run CorePlayer is using RedGear. I got the latest build and it works perfectly on my Jornada 728. |

| Redgear doesn't run on ce5/6 however. I'm also having the same no network connection with coreplayer on both ce5 and ce6. Wonder what dll's might be missing. At any rate i did manage to get youtube working the old fashioned way with a flash7 dll and some registry entries on my razorbook.
Proving youtube still works with flash 7
Cheers. |
