| Is there a way to make CorePlayer runs better quality youtube videos? Because on my Jornada it seems to play only the small and crappy 3GP video (made for cellphones). |

Yeap.
Also, it's theoretically possible to find FlashLite 3.1 and install it on MP900 with some hacks. FlashLite 3.1 ~ Flash 8.
Did you try this solution? |

| I installed a WM app on my Smartbook that had redgear enabled.
It popped up a little menu on a youtube video to open it in TCPMP
Not sure if it will work on Sig3. Or if Compatible with opera. When I happen accross the memory card with it installed I will test it.

| Sure. Just grab my zip i loaded with stuff. Inside the 'extras' folder is flash7.dll and flash lite 3.1 i pulled from the ce6.iso. Check the razorbook ce working applications thread for the link.

| RTFM, I assume the dlls go into the Windows directory, but do I need to merge the .reg files too? Seemingly can't just rightclick them and select merge like you can in XP... or am I missing something?

| Yep the dll's go into \Windows. To import the .reg files use TRE (included in my zip file). I couldn't get either flash7 or flashlite working on my ce6 device, yet both work fine on my ce5 device, so your mileage may vary.
Cheers. |

| Hmmm. I installed flashlite, imported the reg files. Codegeek.net says I have flash player 9.1.115 installed but if I try to play a youtube video it tells me "unsupported .swf file format. Some animated content may not play", and indeed the video doesn't play.
Originally (out of the box) going to youtube mobile (m.youtube.com), clicking on a video fired up WMP9, but it crapped out with an error. Can't rightclick the link to try to download the .3gp file, either, not found... which seems to kill any chance of tcpmp working.
There were a few sites that used an IE plugin in conjunction with an online service to redirect the youtube request to the plugin and thence to tcpmp, but all those sites seem to have vanished.

| Hmmm. With Flash Lite youtube doesn't work as described above. With Flash 7 (which installs, but with errors, saying it might not work) the video loads, I see the first few seconds, very choppy, then the browser locks up.

| That's pretty much the same experience I've had with YouTube on my CE 6 netbook. |

| Hmmm, stranger... a youtube video embedded on another page plays almost ok, only a little bit choppy, for the first two minutes or so of a 5 minute clip... then locks the browser up. The audio portion is smooh, though it has the same pops and clicks that I've mentioned in the thread on music issues in the CE6 section.
