hi !

i got a Nokia D211 datacard (GSM, GPRS, WLAN), which works on my J720, at least GPRS works, i have had some problems with wlan.
but when i tried it on my NEC900 with Cmonex v2.0, it didn´t work, which was almost what i suspected.

so i was thinking about downgrading to HPC2000, but before i flashed it i decided to try Cmonex RAM OS, XIP.BIN, HPC2000-version,
and my card still doesn´t work, not even GPRS.
it installs ok, the nokia-program starts, everything looks good, but when i try to activate GPRS, it disconnects immediately.

i tried with 2 different SIM-cards (2 operators), just to be sure it wasn´t a network problem.
and i also double-checked the card, it still works on my J720.

i suspect there is some minor difference between the RAM-OS & the "real" OS.

is it possible to get a D211 to work on a 900C with Cmonex v2.0 ?

hi !

thanks for reply.

"...it will not work. not even on HPC2000..."

that´s too bad, i had "BIG" plans to use my 900 with my D211-card, at least until i find a faster & better card....
D211 -wlan doesn´t work on my J720, so i will have to find another card anyway, as i need a wlan-connection at the university.
D211 is also a bit slow on GPRS (40,2 kbit/s).
