680 keyboard on 720

Hey there! I got a jornada 680 keyboard i'd like to use on my 720. The keys are much bigger and i really don't need all the extra keys on 720. Hardware-wise it works perfectly, except that the keys i press on the 680 keyboard register as 720 keys, so alot of the keys i press are registering a diferent char.

Is there a fix or a patch for this?
