NEC MP780 Sync Cable Repair Help Needed...

Can someone tell me what wire goes to what plug on the end that goes into the NEC?

Go to Mymobilepro.net, select the MP780 page, then at the bottom select the combined documents for the 780. Next to last page is the pinout for the serial/sync cable....

Rich, my cable seems to be different. I have wires that are not listed on he pinout page. My colors are: brown, red, yellow, green, purple, orange, gray and blue, and the one that is broken off and not on a pin in black. The black one doesn't go all the way to the connector part, maybe it is attached to the shield? I was also hoping for pictures as well.

Need to bump this up, I really need some pictures here!!!

I used the multimeter, and here is what I have:

Terminal A (PC end)
1. Brown
2. Red
3. Orange
4. Yellow
5. Green
6. Blue
7. Purple
8. Gray
9. Black

The pinout says that pin 9 on A should not be in use, and 1 and 6 should both me on same pin.

On the B side that goes into the NEC, I have the blue wire for pin 6 on A going to Pin 16, which is not supposed to have a wire either, so my question here is this: Where the hell does this black wire go to?
