2 Questions About Mobilepro 750C

Just as the title says, I have 2 questions about my mobilepro 750C (thanks again for the ROM, Rich)

The screen is extremely dim, I have to turn the lights of to see the thing. Is this normal, or is my backlight dying? Just a note, I think it may be the power supply i'm using - it's 7.5 volts.

I've got a wifi card, it's RTL8180L based, it lights up but doesn't recognize in CE. Are there any drivers for this chip?

Not normal...it should be nice and bright. You might try the normal a/c adapter...9V DC out.

Did you check the hardware compatibility listing for your wifi card on this web site?

That's what I was thinking - insufficient power to charge and operate at the same time.

I think it was a linksys, but I didn't see it on the list. I'll probably just use an ethernet card instead.
