L need to transfer txt files between from jornada 720 to a palm tungsten using IR some one knows how can l do it .....

install total commander on the jornada, it can do ir-obex and is free.
i don't know palm os software but you should find an app there too that can do ir-obex.

Another option is EZ-OBEX, i don't remember the page, but search for it in the mighty oracle (Google)

Maybe it's better for a general purpose tool, but if you don't need all it's funcionts ez-obex is really lightweight (about 20kb)
