Hey All,

Thanks everyone for your help and answers u've all given me.

My NEC MobilePro 900 has Just arrived , With CE 3.0 / 2000 still Attatched.

I will Eventually Flash the ROM and instal the CMONEX 4.2 ROM2 version , but before I get in to that , Im having A lot of Trouble getting My Wifi Cards to Work.

When it Comes to Wireless Networking or Any type of Networking connectivity on a Typical Windows OS like Win7, XP. But am Clueless On a CE-OS .?

Im not entirely sure how to do this? Ive gone to the WLAN Compatibility Page , and I Do have a Compatible Card - "Compaq WL110" .

Downloaded the Suggested Drivers from this Page - as well as from Different Sources. Ive Linked my NEC successfully, but when I run the Drivers, it says "Incompatibility"

Besides that - What exactly are the Steps I need to Take?

Of course when I simply Plug in the Card - it asks for a Driver Name , Im just clueless how to Make my WLAN Card work on a CE OS.

I really appreciate your time and patience when answering this.

BTW - I have Other Wifi Cards too; Sparklan, Hawking, and a Orinoco-Agere-Speedtouch as well. The Speedtouch I would Much Rather use, due to its smaller size . . But I will Take Anything at this point..

Thanks again!!

Like the Speedtouch, the WL110 also uses the Agere driver. Get the CE version here:

http://www.hpcfactor.com/support/cesd/h/0031.asp

Inside the ZIP file, you'll find another named Inflated.zip. Open that, and inside find the file wireless.SA1100.CAB. Copy that to the 900 and run it on the device to install the driver. When you insert the card, if it asks for a driver, type in wlags406. Now tap on the signal bars in the system tray and select "Open Wireless Profiles." There's a WiFi scanner interface there that'll allow you to find and connect to the network of your choice.

I have read through over 10 different threads and do not see my solution or at-least don't recognize it..
MP880 SP1 trying to install the Linksys WP11 v3 without a sync cable.
Installed active sync 3.5 on xp and wont finish as I am not cabled up. so I run the WP11 driver pack and it wont install as im not cabled up.
I tried to extract from the cabs but two programs wont do it.
So how can I do the manual install?
How can I get the cabs?
I have read the following
Installing Programs from the Host
Installing Programs using .cab files
Installing Programs manually
Extracting Cabinets from Host Installers

Thank you in advance.
Rick
