Which is the main CPU?

IIRC, the 2 pieces have slightly different markings. Only one of them serves as the main CPU.

Right. The 820 is like this too: there's one marked "SA-1110"
(the main processor
) and another marked "SA-1111."

The sa1111 is a companion chip that handles interfaces and other stuff plenty of info online about it
