| the aironet configuration utility recognises my router (chinesefoodtastesgood) which is unsecured but it never obtains an ip address but I get the router's mac adress whats going on here? | |

| that's a common problem I had with several routers. simply assign an IP address somewhere in the range the router isn't likely to hand out. | |

| If you're using an aironet have you updated the firmware and driver to the latest - both have to match. | |
