You can use the Clik! driver to allow a USB-enabled H/PC Pro, H/PC 2000, or Windows CE 2.12 device to read and write to USB mass storage devices, like USB thumb drives or hard drives with a USB interface. The driver supports ARM, MIPS, and SH4 processors. (No Windows CE device with an SH3 processor came with a USB port.) After installing the driver, plug in the storage device, and the H/PC will ask for a driver name. Type in usbclik and press OK, and the drive shows up in Windows Explorer as a set of non-English characters. (You can use "Clik Tools" in the Start Menu to change the name of the drive.) Search the forums using the keywords "Clik USB" to find older threads discussing this driver and its uses.

It looks like it did, but look at the errors... Thecatmilton doesn't usually type that sloppily. This is why I made sure to get a smart phone with a physical keyboard; I type words the phone doesn't have in its dictionary. (like Jornada) I'm using it to type this.

That would help. I trust you're saying that after you spelled "clik" correctly, it worked.

I've had the same problem in the past...lock up when it is time to unplug...a small price to pay for compatibility to read/write to a USB flash drive when it wasn't designed for it...

If you have an ARM device with a USB port, then the Deje driver is a more reliable alternative:

Milton, are you sure your HPC is USB enabled? Many have USB sync; few have a USB *controller*. Make shure it's designed to controll a USB device.

For those of us who don't have USB controllers, is there an HPC 2K compatible USB controller in a PCMCIA or CF card?
