Has anybody managed to get Conduits freeware 'Pocket Spark' Flash player working on an Intermec 6651? I have downloaded the MIPS HPC installation file and it seems to install fine but I get an error message when trying to launch the application.

I have emailed Conduits but they replied saying that it's unsupported software and is for Pocket PC only. Why then do they provide both HPC ARM and HPC MIPS downloads!?!

I have had this program 100% working great on a Jornada 720 but it refuses to run on the Intermec.

Any help would be appreciated...

I got the mips version working with some modifications here and there. I didn't keep the files though.

I couldn't get the Pocket IE plug-in working though, just the player

Hi C-Amie

Modifications? Do you mean to the source code or registry values?

I'm only interested in the standalone player - not the plugin.

Is the source code freely available anywhere?

http://conduits.com/ce/spark/PocketSparkBeta2-Source.zip

You'll likely need to hexedit the file to call the ppc2002 dlls.

I have a similar issue. FALSH Assist works on standalone basis but IE is not able to show Flash content. Any inputs on what changes are needed to make this work!

Many thanks,SG

When you say call the dll, do you mean the html object code?

Under 4.2 I think your best bet would be Macromedia's version, not a recompile of conduits'
