| Welcome, Please make use of the HCL http://www.hpcfactor.com/hcl/ . Look under Wireless cards. Or you can use the search. |

| at the HCL http://www.hpcfactor.com/hcl/ . under Wireless cards I saw the pc card Cisco System Aironet 340 series but I don't understand if it's compatible with my mobilepro 780 with S.O windows CE 2.1, I asked to someone on internet about this pc card and answered that the "Systems Requirements" described on the pc card's installation CD are:Win NT, Win95, Win98, Win2000 .
Someone can tell me more?
Thanks |

| It wouldn't be in the HCL if it wasn't.
The 780 is a 2.11 device. |

|
| But why in the "Systems Requirements" described on the pc card's installation CD there are Win NT, Win95, Win98, Win2000 and not windows CE?

| Probably down to the fact that the CE drivers aren't on the CD. |

| This should work for you. There are other drivers though. Read this very short thread.

i don't really recommend cisco 350, consumes a lot of power and the sensivity isn't too good either
it's better than 340 i think (it's newer at least ) Edited by cmonex 2005-07-09 5:55 PM

| 340 has no WEP
341 has 40-bit WEP
342 has 128-bit WEP
350 has 128-bit WEP |

I second cmonex's statement, and i would recommend getting a CF card, if you're using CE2.11 i'd suggest one with a prism chipset, there are drivers available for them, they do not suck that much battery and the signal strenght is quite good Edited by matrixcore 2005-07-09 8:11 PM
