This may sound like a silly question, but is there such a thing as a Pocket PC emulator for Handheld PCs?

The reason I ask is because I have the full version of Age of Empires for Pocket PC, and the ONLY thing I'm gonna miss when I swap my Pocket PC is playing this game!

I don't own a computer (I'd play the PC version on that if I did), but I have all of the .cab files readily available...

Any ideas?

Firstly aren't HPC 2000 devices half VGA? I'm pretty sure the Jornada 728 only runs at 640x240...

Secondly, what's Nyditot?

Devices under 2.00 and higher can be anything from 480x240 with no Microsoft imposed upper limit.

Nyditot is a screen virtualiser which gives you more screen res to run programs in.

Or just get a PIII-300~500 (sub)notebook with CDROM and play AOE on it! ... that is unless you really need a very portable (1~2lbs) device that has long (8hr) battery life.

Nah, a laptop of any description doesn't fit into this year's budget.

Besides, I don't own any of the AOE PC games; I'm hoping they'll do a multi-pack with all of the AOE games when the 3rd one comes out...

hmmm what is your budget? Most of the notebooks in the range I mentioned are between $150~$300, depending on specs.

Where on earth do you get a laptop for between $100 and $300?

And what currency is that in BTW...

I can't really afford a laptop at all 'cause we need lots of new appliances...
