i have a jornada 702 and a compaq wl110 running successfully with orinoco drivers.

the problem is: if i type in the ip adress, gateway, subnetmask and dns all works fine, but if i set it to dhcp it doesn't work. The DHCP server on the wlan router is activated and allows every mac adress. I already tried it in another network, didn't work too.
But as I said if network information is entered everything works fine, but i want to get dhcp working.

DHCP probably doesn't work because you are using a card and different drivers..the ORiNOCO drivers probably don't support DHCP under that card...just get a ORiNOCO Gold/Silver card....

usually a different driver shouldn't be a problem. at least it isn't a problem with plain prism2 cards.. but as the wl110 isn't prism.. (wl100 is), you might just be out of luck and bobbarker's solution is the best you can do.. ..or get a prism2 card!

eh, it is just a typo, if you look at the topic title, you'll see it is a plain 720
