Flash player apps are for running .swf files, not for viewing .flv videos. YouTubePlay requires a higher version of CE. But the FLV plugin should work - it works on my 728.

The FLV plugin is only to play FLV video files already copied/downloaded to the device - it does not provide a plugin to Pocket Internet Explorer (or any other Web browser ) to stream video from the Web. You'd need at least the Macromedia Flash 7 library (flash.dll ), which H/PC 2000 does not support, to have any chance to play YouTube videos directly from the Web.

That's a Windows Mobile 6 device, which is based on CE 5.02. The Jornada runs H/PC 2000, which is based on CE 3.0. CE 3.0 doesn't support a lot of things WM6 does.

What about CorePlayer? It worked for a while on my Jornada 728, but I don't use it for a long time. Don't know if they still support youtube streaming, because last time I tried (about 3 months ago), it didn't work on my J728 neither on my Sig3...

Yes - but not every one works with the CE flash player. (Quite a few do, though. )
