Happy Birthday Forums

On this day in 2005 I flipped a button and made these very forums live for the first time and 6 years later they're still going strong and even better they still haven't crashed.

We've had a few security and hacking scares along the way, but I've always managed to hack them back into life.

Bring on year 7

C:Amie, no joke. I was freaking out when I started reading this thread. 'So I flipped the switch enabling HPC:Factor user birthday [month and day I had meant] notifications]. I was thinking nooooo. Anyway, on topic. Apologies. You all have been here so long. Veterans you are. :-)

Yes it has.

Before this some of us were posting on ppcmag's hpc forums. It's a ghost town there now So good thing we have this place instead. And many thanks to C:Amie and others who help maintain the site.

Not to mention the Pocket PC FAQ H/PC forums, and the really old HPC.net.

I don't know how active PDAstreet was, or how relevant it is/was, but yeah. I'm still shocked at how fast time goes.. 2005 seems not too long ago, but at the same time, a long time ago... (I know the forums started in 2004, I just meant when I started coming here)....
