Does anyone have any suggestions for a good use for a 1.0 machine?

I have a casio A-21 - at least I think that is it. It is the handheld with both a keyboard and a touch screen. I have not used it in more than 2 years...I loved it very much when I used it and kept it in very good condition. I hate to waste things...can you share your uses for your ce 1.0 machine? wireless seems to be out of the question. How about as an e-book? mp3 player? I even forget whether you can plug an earphone into it or not...I like to play chess....any other ideas? let's be creative

I am unfamiliar with the specs for your device, but I use a beat up MP780 as a home security controller. If your device has a serial port and you can program it, then you can pretty much use it for anything that needs a minibrain to watch for events and initiate actions.

oh i think you can use even a ce 1.0 machine well!
ebook? great use, i must say! the built-in pocketword (with a little converting) and IE 1.0/1.1 can do the job!
no you can't do wireless with it, that's available only from 2.0 and above.
mp3? well i'm not sure if your casio has a good audio system... i'm almost sure you can't plug in it anything.

i listed several software sites there for CE 1.0!

Mmm maybe you could use it as a robot. there's some info about that in a thread, it's a RC car controlled via a laptop, but an HPC could be used as a replacement (loooooooong battery life)
