(again, I know, I have heard that too many times too
) except you don't even need the gloves. The sensor seems to work well... Instead of Kinect's cameras looking at the whole room and processing all that complication, this thing just looks at your hands from below? Does it project it's own lighting
(like infrared
)? I wonder what happens if you put it on the floor and stick your other extremities above it...
If they can combine this with a 3D display technology, your fingers
(or toes, or...
) can have some virtual physical interactions with, umm, anything the computer can generate...
