Does the grayscale Sharp HC-4100's AA battery holder fit the color models?

After several days of turning on the color Mobilon for a few minutes per day I finally got a low battery level and then 2-3 days later a very low level.

I noticed the Mobilon dims the screen to the dimmest level when the battery level is very low, but this reduces the stress on the batteries and they then go back up to low or good a few seconds later which turns the backlight back to full power, which in turn increases the stress on the batteries causing it to go back to very low and dimming the backlight again. This cycle repeats every few minutes.

I like that it dims the screen when the battery is very low to help get as much usage with the little power that's left, and you can always manually dim the screen with Alt+[ to avoid the annoying backlight and battery cycle.
