Wanted to also mention Teoma as an alternative to Google. (they may data mine too but I'm unaware of it) I've been trying to break from google for some time now. It is a pain in the butt to relink other accounts away from gmail and hope I get the right hits when using duckduckgo or teoma. One of the problems with me though is I've gotten accustomed to Google's news page. But perhaps I should get over that anyway since all we get now is parrot news anyway. I'm going to try the Opera portal as a news source. Anybody got any good news portals they like as an alternative to Google's? And what about a good stand alone email service? | |

| I have had my own intranet web page(s) since 1998. On that I aggregate a number of rss feeds as news. No ad's, no mess. | |
