Using the search feature it was interesting to see my previous resolutions here on HPCFactor...and now I realize that I never made a single one of them beyond a day or two. I have been predestined to be doomed to fail...

Even last night, after midnight, I handed my wife a piece of paper. On it I had written down my 2013 New Year's Resolutions...the first couple went like this:

1. Be kind to my wife this year and not make any disparaging remarks about her.
2. Wake up each morning and have passionate sex.
3. etc...

Well my wife took a look at it and smiled snidely and asked me with a straight face, "And who would be the woman you are going to wake up with each morning?

"Why, you of course," I said to her.

"Dream on buddy...it sure as hell won't be me..."

Needless to say, resolution #1 lasted about 30 seconds

I assume that #2 didn't get through 24 hours then

Did you get out for the night or do you just flop down infront of the TV and watch in the New Year?

Also, will someone please tell me why "new year" has to be written "New Year"? MY mind is being controlled by Microsoft spell checker and I don't know why

If you are speaking about a year that is new...the new year is fine. But if you are referring to the holiday, then that is a proper noun and capitalized...New Year.

CEGeek...I wish it were a joke...but there is nothing funny about it.

Hey, at least there's someone next to you when you wake up in the morning.

CE Geek is right, you should be thankful that you have someone to spend your money for you and keep the size of your H/PC collection down to Darwinianly manageable levels.
