Hi all,

Any idea how to get Kingston 5GB pccard drive to run in CE.NET 4.1? I searched Kingston site but could not find any drivers for 4.1. It runs in hpcpro. Can I copy the driver over?

Yeah, that's what I thought too! ... but inserting into the SL4 displays the "feel lucky today punk?" prompt ... oops ... no, not that one, the "lucky punk, wanna try running that with battery?" select "yes" and then nothing.

I'm gonna try formating the card into a few smaller partition and see if it works. hmmm

Interesting, I wouldn't recommend that you try a non-CE4 storage driver on it though.. too much at stake if it gets something wrong.

Thanks matrixcore,

RE the driver, I'd be worried that it could cause data loss. If the driver makes calls or tries to park the disk head in the wrong place... or it being unoptimised causes it to experience seek failures, over overruns... too many variables - personally (I know these things are pretty much self fault tolerent... but still)
