I was in the local electronics store yesterday and came across this. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815740001&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Video+Devices+%26+TV+Tuners-_-N82E16815740001&gclid=CPa73djmg7YCFW2oPAodQUMAmQ
This looks like a great way to turn non "smart" TV's into a full fledged "smart TV" with built in WiFi...

Yea "Android sticks" have been around for a while, since before the ICS days. Not the best in terms of usefulness though, as most are pretty slow (weak CPU, lack of RAM), especially if you run them at full HD.

The better spec ones are more expensive - more than a cheap tablet with HDMI output (mine is $200), so then what's the point...

Media Centre is pretty useless without a TV tuner, which alone is often more expensive to produce than the rest of such system.
