| Okay, it is no secret that Chris and I both have named our H/PCs. It is, erm, a sign of a geek yes but also adds some personality to this digital life....
My wife use to administer a server named "Celine" in honor of Celine Dion... why? Well, as she said, "that server is a high maintenance B**** just like Celine is!"
So we want to know if you have named your H/PC.... |

| Call me Mr. Geek then.
All my servers and workstations use a naming schema which requires the first two letters to be Am or Ad.
All my H/PC's have girls names
I'm just a softie really should I admit that? |

| I've talked about my hpc's names already. but if you don't mind, i can repeat them
Blinky: J680, i gave it to my gf about a month ago... and i've found it's so hard to live with only 1 different cpu/platform type to play with
Pinky: J720, currently dead awaiting a new mobo
Inky: J720, used mainly as a test bed (damn linux, it won't boot )
Clyde: J728, used as working machine. i think i like this the most. I carry it around all day, even in the hospital (i'm a med student ). I even tell everyone it's my daughter |

| Huey: MP780, my main portable.
Duey: MP780, a gift for Niece #1
Luey: MP780, a gift for Niece #2
Donald: MP880, when screen realestate is more important than portability.
Scrooge: Walkabout Hammerhead. |

| I name whatever my handheld pc is at the moment Rex. Maybe I should start adding on numbers... that'd make my MP790 Rex the 4th (revo, axim, clie, mp).
Rex IV then. |

So Matrixcore has a Pac-Man fetish and Zapper has a duck fetish...
What an interesting collection of folks we have here!

Yes, you do need to start numbering the kids there Corp.... you'll end up calling one of them and all of them will respond... gets nasty when in large public settings.

| My handheld is currently labelled the "Alternitive Pocket PC", because I own a palm and pocket PC. However, when I saw this thread, I instantly renamed it, so its new name..
..is....
... Dino!
Guess why? |
