Well, it's my summer trip to the gulf coast again. Been here for a week, got a month or so to go. Am burnt to crisp, in terrible pain. Not only that but have big bruises on my body from wrestling with a shark who didn't want to be pulled into the boat.

On the computer side, brought my wifes computer, which I'm using now...and my old trusty 790...which I use as a clock in the room I stay in. Every night before sleepy time I play a couple games of backgammon, download my ymail on the 790.

For some reason IE on that thing doesn't to load up the forum pages here on HPCF. I can use Netfront and it works okay, but is still too hard to read. Wish Opera had made a MIPS verson for CE.

Anyways, today's haul: 5 large gafftops, 7 hardheads, 2 blacktips, one about 35lbs (which gave me the bruising), 4 ladyfish, 7 croakers, 8 specks, and 3 nice flounder....all in all, a good 12 hours of fishing....though my back is killing me as I sit here and type this.

I really need to give up retirement and go back to work...

Pictures of people sleeping are never flattering, Rich. That said, they're just about the right dimensions for the 790. I'm tempted to use the bottom one as a desktop for one of my HVGA devices.

Arrrgh! Well hold on a couple of days, as I'm heading out this weekend to beyond the barrier islands to fish. One of the islands I fish off is called "Ship Island." On the southeast end of the island there is a nude beach...I'll get you a racy desktop picture for that machine...

Though I will have to email it to you. I think C:Amie would come slightly unglued if I posted it here.

I think we'll be all right not to see any naked pictures of you, Rich.

Nonsense. I've read that Rich was John Holmes' body double in many, many movies. Though I haven't actually seen those movies. In general, I find porn's storylines to be fundamentally flawed--a few, sure, but are *all* college coeds into girl-on-girl? Call me a cynic, but I think the percentage is exaggerated.

Well, here it is. I went out to Ship Island and went to the nude beach area. I took off all my clothes, grabbed my camera and took this shot.

Strange thing...no one was there yet...I was all alone on the beach. I was hoping that all the babes would be there with me in the picture...alas...this is the best I could do.

I did get stung by a jellyfish in the surf however, which left a string of welts on my lower calf. Glad I wasn't wading waist deep.

Awww, C:Amie...I didn't think you cared....

I went back by there about 4 hours later....wow! Flesh heaven! I had to leave however, my heart wasn't handling it well...and my eyeballs were straining trying to jump from their sockets...

Actually I prefer speckled trout and flounder...but sometimes you don't get much choice.

After landing this thing it was sitting on the deck for 5 minutes and we decided (my-brother-in-law and myself) to open his mouth and take a picture of his teeth. We thought he was dead. Suddenly he started thrashing and snapping at us.

You should have seen it..two grown men jumping simultaneously while screaming to the top of the cabin....straight up 6 feet...

My gulf fishing is over for the summer. Leave Tuesday to head back to Michigan. Fishing is more leisurely up there off my sailboat...plus not nearly as hot. Even my blisters have blisters....
