| So I'm looking at this software and trying to decide...do I really want to upload it to HPC factor? It is trial version software only good for 30 days, and probably only important if you are a werewolf, or simply go crazy with the full moon. You tell me...should I upload it? SH3, MIPS, and ARM versions available...here is a picture of it: (bUseful Moon Phase.jpg) Attachments ---------------- bUseful Moon Phase.jpg (54KB - 0 downloads) |

| In some Asian cultures following the moons phase is as important as knowing the day of the week. Buddhists in particular use it - remember Snappy! a mod from years ago?
So I think you should. |

| I knew a woman about ten years ago who made the casual aside that she was sexually insatiable during a full moon. I thought of telling her I was there to help, but she didn't look as if she would've cared. On the other hand, she didn't own an H/PC. On yet another hand, when she threw that year's Halloween party, I went dressed as a full moon.
To no avail,

| You should have shown her your "moon rocks!"
Guess I will, maybe tomorrow. Just updated a couple of files that were incomplete. Added bFax files to the SCL, both bFax Pro and bFax Express (which most people don't even remember ). |

| Should fax express be in its own listing? As a different app/version, perhaps it deserves one that outlines the different functionality.
More SCD's are always welcome though! |

| I thought about it...but they are so close in functionality...the only main difference is the pro version contains the bfax to print application as well, but most people won't use that. I figured I'd include them in a single download and let the user decide which they like best. Anyways, they are version 4.0. Most Mobilepro people won't even bother with them as they were part of the MP CE OS, or came on the accessory CD. Those MIPS version will work only on Mobilepros...but they are full versions as these are the 30 day trials.
I'll also upload the bSquare Newspro which was a very nice HPC newsreader...again trial version. |

| LOL! bUSEFUL's MoonPhase is one of the few programs that I would never be without. I originally put it on my MP700 over a dozen years ago and it's been with me ever since. It's handy for astronomy, photography and, of course, hunting werewolves.
Didn't bUSEFUL release a version without a time restriction before they bundled it into the first version of bUSEFUL Utilities? I remember coming across it a couple of years ago while searching for other astronomy programs. If I remember right, there was no difference between it and the version I`m running now (V1.10.9012). Unfortunately, I don`t remember the version number or where I found it.

| I poked around BSquare's website and did not see any of these apps for sale, or even download. Are they doing the Softmaker thing: we sold it, now we don't, best of luck?

| They stopped selling to the public years ago. I believe they only deal with OEMs now (at least, that's the impression I got a few years ago when I wrote to them looking to buy a few of their titles).

| Rick, it may bUSEFUL to you, but apparently it bUSELESS to Rich.
Jonathan Sachs' Ephemeris does more, and it's free:
http://www.dl-c.com/PPC/#Ephemeris%201.0
It's written for CE 3, but it'll work on a CE 2.11 device if the OS version is hexedited to 2.11. |

| I heard some people in the stock trading industry use the moon as a time to sell/buy their stocks. They might find it useful. haha. Edited by stingraze 2014-01-08 11:57 AM

I read that and burst out laughing.

That is a very good program and I've used it at times. Unfortunately it doesn't work on either a MP700 or a Casio PA-2400 (they're the only WinCE devices I use any more ).
