Most applications for CE were written before the Sylvania came out, so the CAB files do not recognize the cpu...hence the errors. When that happens, you have two options.
1. Extract the files manually from the CAB file and copy them to your netbook using a program such as MSCEINF or OCP's WinCE Cab Manager program or...
2. Modify the CAB file so that it will accept any CPU, again using OCP's Cab Manager program.
You can use OCP's program free for 30 days, so it is worthwhile to download and install it on your desktop.
As far as the .exe and .msi files, they are either meant to be desktop installers that use Activesych
(which you cannot use with the Sylvania
) or they are .exe files meant to be run directly from the Netbook.
Most of the files require specific DLLs to run. Probably things like MFCCE211.DLL, OLECE211.DLL, MFCCE300.DLL, AND OLECE300.DLL
You need to obtain these from this website and manually copy them to your netbook's Windows folder. And with all programs and drivers, make sure that you download and use the version written for ARM processors.
There are a zillion posts on this website about file extraction and manually copying them and related issues...for that all of us will say you just need to read and learn...it is a process that will produce results that will make you smile.
