It died...it is completely dead...

My trusty old friend died today. HP Photosmart D5460 printer. I loved it. It had a duplexer so I could print on both sides of the paper. It printed directly on my printable CD/DVDs. I had added a CISS ink system to it. It has been a faithful friend...alas it is gone

So I'm searching the web to read about new printers and I come across an article about a new Epson printer. It has a CISS built into it. I mean, that's what I want! A wireless printer that has refillable ink reservoirs! So cool.

Then strangely, I see they don't sell them here in the US! What's up with that?

Looks like it is non-profitable to sell CISS inn USA, they are selling non-refillable cartridges fine. )

BTW: Epson.com is down.

I also expect that their CISS solutions are not called Lxxx in USA same as Canon 500D is called Rebel.

Edit: it looks like you should look for R28xx and R3xxx and possibly some others.
