| Back with my first pocket PC in several years...
I found a Sharp HC-4100 in Portobello Road today, but when I took a closer look I realised that it had Italian logos on some keys. Since it was only a fiver I bought it anyway, but once I'd got batteries in I discovered that the OS etc. is all Italian. On the base it says Sharp HC-4100I (my italics) which I presume means it's the Italian release.
Is there any way to change this to English? Also, can this run Linux? | |

| OK - I'm going to assume nobody knows much about it, will probably list it on ebay UK in the next few days. | |

| I think you are correct...no way to change it out without a hardware swap... | |

| There's access to some sort of board underneath but I think it's memory, and I'm not especially keen to get back into HPCs anyway, to be honest - I'm retired now and have a lot less use for computing on the go, usually when I travel these days it's for several days and by train rather than motorbike, and I take a laptop. | |
