| Does the find function work on the 2.0?
I installed the 1.0 version from HPC Factor on my Jornada 720 and if I tap on find, just nothing happens.
The find function was for me the main reason to intall Acrobat Reader. I had bought the Ansyr Primer 3.1 which has a lot of great extras but will only search on the current page. |

| it works, but the dialogue is drawn off the screen in the top left, and getting rid of it needs a few trips around the keyboard's alt key combinations. |

| Thanks very much for you answer but I just can't make any sense of your words: what should I get rid of and what trips should I make around my alt-key? |

| I am not entirely sure how I'm supposed to take that.
I replied to your question about the find box. |

| Sorry, but I just don't understand what you mean.
When I tap on the find symbol or if I press CTRL + F , nothing happens.
You wrote: "the dialogue is drawn off the screen in the top left". I can't find any dialogue and I don't understand what you mean with "drawn off".
Further you wrote "getting rid of it needs a few trips around the keyboard's alt key combinations". I don't have a dialogue box, so what could I get rid of? And if I did have one, I guess I would not want to get rid of it but I hopt it would be there to enter the word to be searched for. And I don't understand what you mean with "a few trips around the keyboard's alt key combinations".
Seems they didn't teach me enough English here in Germany.
But thanks again for your help. |

Does the find function work on the 2.0?
Hmm, it doesn't work for me. If I click on the menu and Find, the reader stops responding. I have to soft reset
Could be the dlls I'm using? What's more confusing is that other windows (like Options ) are working, except the screen cannot show the bottom part. I can see the OK and Cancel buttons too. |

| I'm using 1.0, not 2.0, on a Jornada 720. Here's what I do:
Tap the binocular icon. Nothing (apparently) happens.
Type what you are looking for carefully
Press the return key. If you typed the word correctly, and it was in the document, the word in the document will be highlighted and you will see a partial dialog box that can be dragged fully into the window. This dialog box allows for New Find, Find prev[ious] and Find next choices.
If you typed the word incorrectly, (ie familkar instead of familiar) you will see a Find: Nothing found dialog box with "Your query "familkar" returned no results." You will see the same kind of message if the word you are searching for is not in the document.
Hope this helps!
