Can optical mice be used in Jornada 820's USB port?

I found this itty bitty, optical mouse at Radio Shack/Tandy Electronics that's designed specifically for laptops and space-constrained situations...

yes a optical usb mouse is compattible. I have a Jornada 820e, and an usb optical mouse, and it works just fine.
