| Well, I just screwed something up again. The AS wont work through the LAN. The J680 knows it has the card, Tries connecting to my Desktop. But will only connect through the Serial port. Even tried Reinstalling AS 3.8.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I did find a leftover file from AdvantGo and deleted it.
Thanks

| have you read through the CESD on this?
maybe you'll need a registry modification. can't remember now if it's described in CESD. |

| My problems started back a while ago. I tried running a Remote Networking Application and ever since then, Never Lan Synced.
I did run a Reg Edit. But the unit wont connect.

| Are you positive that this is an affliction of the ActiveSync install and not on the PC / H/PC in general? |

| When I use the AS on the 680, Tries to connect. But doesnt. Did the Reg Edit with the IPADDR and HEX. The lights on my hub blink twice. Then thats it. I also have to Soft Reset or else it doesnt run again.

| Can you browse network shares AND surf the net on the 680? |

| I tried pining each other. No response. Yet my Hub lights are on for both devices.

| ESCMax, have you tried using PocketHost to do the Naming in registry? Also, I assume that everything was working fine until you tried to do AS over LAN right? |

| I do belive my J680 is messed up. On occasion it wants to "Format" my CF card.
Maybe I should just do a Hard Reset and reload.

| I don't know whether I've to open a new thread or just continue here, I try to do LAN sync using peer-to-peer wireless connection with My 690.
The network goes fine I can do ping from both side but somehow the ActiveSync (ver 3.8) won't recognise and sync my device, do I miss any step? Please advise. ... |
