WIRELESS CARD SD I/O

Hi, do you know witch are compatible wifi SD I/O wireless card compatible with my Bsquare power Handheld with CE 4.1 ?

I'm trying to find the same- SDIO wifi for bsquared-
my 'SAFECOM swlsdi-1100' is getting me nowhere.

socket is definitely compatible at least i heard so..
there's at least 30 of them on ebay... for 55 EUR - BIN price!!

Hi Cmonex, - The SDIO card I've got was an 'ebay bargain' -
The manufacturer says it will work with wince 4.1 - but no joy with my bsquare(?)
I'm loathed to buy another 'dud'.

I'm thinking a reghack may help- but i'm not sure where to look?

I own a safecom sdio wlan card, too.

All drivers i've testet don't work. The latest drivers are avaible at...

Drivers and tools need 4.2 ce and some more dll's. Testet with ExecutabilityCheck.exe and patched to ce 4.10, i installed missing dll's. Software crashes. Testing the main .dll from the driver the handheld freezes.

what dlls were missing?

mfcce300.dll

I installed mfcee300,aygshell,DocList,olece300 from a russian replacement (cemenu-0.9b8.arm.zip). When i start now first messeage is ..."Can not open controll channel", and second W32N_EnumProtocolBindings Error. Then comes a "Fatal Application Error" - exeption 0xc0000005, adress 46000000.

There are more DLL's to be rewrite for ce 4.10??

did you rewrite mfcce300 to 301?
of course it is necessary only if you already have HPC mfcce in your Win dir and/or the driver is a pocketpc one.
try the 16.5 kbyte aygshell if you didn't use that..

edit: i see you gave the link to the drivers.. i'll look at them tomorrow .. i'll definitely have the time for hacking at last

There is only a mfcce400.dll on the Maui.

My aygshell.dll is 18,5kb. Alternative i have a 9,5kb .dll.

oh you should download the HPC mfcce300 and olece300 , additionally mfcce211 and olece211. some hpc2000 and hpc pro apps require it. (they're in the developer section, in downloads on this site)

as for the driver.. one of these two aygshells should be ok, you're not really missing anything not having the other aygshell versions.
of course if it is a pocketpc driver it will need the ppc dummy mfcce300. and i assume that's what you tried.

I can't test all .dll's with ExecutabilityCheck.exe. Using ExeCheck on 2 driver .dll's freeze the Maui.

So i can't rewrite or check version for ce 4.10.

you can do the hexedit manually then. copy the dlls back to the PC, open them with a hexeditor, replace first instance of 04 00 14 to 04 00 1a. with this, i have successfully got rid of the error messages, except the last one, illegal operation-shut down

i have another idea however. i dont own this card, but what happens if you don't try to launch its utility? just put the card in, and if you're lucky it gets recognized, and then you can do the necessary configuration with zeroconfig even better, if you're at a hotspot, no config is needed at all. just the driver itself.
