WHAT IS SERIAL CABLE FOR MP780, AND WHERE TO GET IT????????

HI,

i recently purchased a mp780 from ebay. all i recieved with it was the unit itself and the pens. i have a 802.11b pc card which i would like to take advantage of, but i need to upload the drivers to the unit first. i do not have this serial cable that everyone is talking about and looking on bestbuy's website, none of them look like the same cable.

can someone please offer me some advice???

Yes, first advice: Don't type in CAPS ...

As for downloading the drivers to the unit, you can search ze Bay for it or use a CF card to transfer the cab files over.

The same cable works for 780/790, so just search for one that fits either unit.

Also you can do an eBay search for "Mobilepro cable" or "S1424-12S" and something is sure to show up. Someone was selling a used one for $15 on Pocketpcmag.com yesterday....
