I aquired a copy of Embedded visual tools 3.0 and would just like to know if this package will run under XP Home with SP2 installed.

Any comments would be welcome before I embark on this adventure.

Regards

HDH,

It certainly will.
If you're using eVC you may see a CPU nag warning on the debug screen
Quote
CPU Mismatch Warning
The CPU does not support configuration !
Executable will not run on device.
Continue?
Which you can safely ignore.

I don't know of any other issues, aside from recommending that you install everything under program files instead of on the root of c:

The minimum spec is a P150 with 32MB RAM, so you will be fine.

oh don't worry my friend, I got it installed on a PIII-500 just recently. I used it to develop, build and debug HPC apps.

(This is like reverse, retrogeek top trumps!)
