| Just curious if anyone here has any suggestions for a Toshiba Libretto alternative that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? Need something that runs at least Windows 7. It shouldn't be bigger than the Libretto, or at max, the Sony Vaio CX1.
Any suggestions welcomed though. |

| I think I've seen some Fujitsu U810s with Windows 7 installed. They came stock with Vista, but originally people were downgrading them to XP. |

| If it's Win7, most of those older Intel Atom based netbooks (sizes comparable to the Libretto) produced several years ago can do the job.
Windows seem to be actively pursuing an Arm branch. If this is true, then many dirt cheap Android small laptops (mostly Arm based) can run even Win10.
Do you have more specific requirements, e.g. price range, battery life, other funcionalities? |

| As cheap as possible, hpcboy. I know the old Netbooks would work, but I've had a few and the old Atom processors are just too weak. Battery life isn't too important, but it should have at least a USB port and a VGA output (or similar).
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. |

| On youtube there is a Linus Tech Tips channel reviewing quite a few recent and decent cheap (below usd$200 ) laptops. Perhaps they can fit your bill?
Ps The logout link is not visible in the Chrome browser on my Android phone either in mobile or desktop views. I finally figured out how to force logging out (as the surrogate MrSB ) by going to the account settings, then deleting all the browser cookies, closing the browser, and launching it again. I regain full control of my cyber self as hpcboy at last! |

| In Japan, Nanote UMPC-01-SR is selling at 19,800 JPY ($187.69 )
Windows 10, Atom x5, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC but at 520grams.
It's a little bit rare now and selling at around 20,000 JPY to 25,000 JPY used.

| The Nanote looks like a rebrand of GPD Pocket.
btw GPD Pocket 2 is also a good alternative. |

Also looks remarkably like the OneMix 1s Yoga sitting beside me, other than minor keyboard differences. |

| Yep, when I saw the Nanote, I was like whaat?
It's a good price point, but I think GPD Pocket will be better if buying used as there are lots more documentation from around the world. |
