Well if you are a Ferrari fan it was a long morning for you. Schumey grinds to a hault and Ruben's pops the tire wall.... Not a good start.

And what is up with Alonso? 8th in Practice 2?

Go Kimi!

I'll be a Ferrari fan the day I own one, which won't be in this lifetime!

Didn't Shoe 4 stop here last year? Only 4 stopper I've ever seen IIRC. Perhaps FA is running heavy, 2 stop I'll bet. How'd Kimi do? I'm with you, let's see him give FA a challenge.

I generally don't check before the race, preferring to let ITV and their crew fill me in.

No, Schumi did a 4 stopper in France last year. It was a on-the-fly strategy change that was absolutely brilliant (even if I'm not a Ferrari fan). The only way it could work is if you have a driver who can put in consistent, blinding fast laps like Schumacher, Raikkonen and Alonso.

Why would he run heavy all through practice though. AtlasF1 said that he was complaining about lack of pace so I think it is something else. Maybe a missed setup.

Kimi was P3 in Practice today, first amongst the regular drivers.

In the US we get SpeedTV coverage of Practice 2, Qualifying and the Race so all of 'em get PVR'd.

Yes, France it was and it was amaziing. The only modern winning 4-stop I've ever seen, outside of rain conditions.

Flav hiding his hand? Tho' FA has complained at bit last few races about balance. If Renault is slipping I don't think they can fall fast enough to allow a Mclaren championship.

Schumi got pole? Wow... didn't see that coming.

I bet you he is on a 3 stopper and has no gas in the car.

And what about that lap from the Kimster!?!? P4 when he went out first? That boy is fast! that car is fast!

Now if that Merc lump lasts....

Shoe on pole? Huh? :loopy, new team strategy, FOF, Ferrari on Fumes, lol.

Don't spoil it for me. I'll see where FA is when I groggily climb from bed to catch the pre-race.

Well deserved win for Kimi......I smell a Kimi-Shoe shootout for the crown if Renault fumbles Instanbul.

BTW, slept in, had the race set to record, ended up with 4 hours of cartoons??? huh?
Had to watch it last night at 11:30 EST on French CBC & my francais is way <average
