| "How is the performance of the various Linux systems compared to the default WinCE?"
From my experience, a bit slower, but not much.

| Now that I have linux running on my J728, I would like to get a "good book" to learn how to best use it and have fun with it.
By way of background, I used to code and work with Unix quite a bit in the early 1990s when I started my career as an engineer.
So, what I am looking for is a handy reference book from which I can re-learn command line (no mouse) linux, working with shells and other tools, and particularly taking advantage of the version of linux that is running on my J728.
I looked through Amazon, and there are lots (lots!) of book choices, so am seeking for any advice this specialized (and special!) group can offer of options in the "linux for dummies" type of category.
Thanks very much in advance! | |
