That's a fine machine. I still have mine somewhere. Had a Compuserve account and through Z's Comms, a person could dial into a local library number, switch to 7-bit, and surf with lynx. Followed the US's 2000 Election Day on my Z, two of the more interesting months of my life

Great accompanying literature, too, written in the day when geeks were geeks and manuals were manuals.

I own two of these, im selling one and keeping one. Do you know of any links to software you can put on the old ZR-3500 and 5000 series models ? I own a ZR-5000, hoping to get a 5800 (has backlight).

Ive been trying to figure out something you can do with the 14.4 modem, i mean you can Fax. But curious if you could use this to dial into a BBS ? It has a Terminal. I just dont remember how to setup some of this stuff.

I like the ZR-3500X, its small, crazy good battery life and to my eyes an easy to read screen. I dig it :-)
