Is pocketdos not able to mount more than one HD file?

I found interesting that pocketDOS is not able to mount a D drive for example, and was wondering if that was something by design.

back in the days, HD were expensive, and backup were on floppy; but for professionals, it was the norm to have more than one hard drive or a tape streamer that you would use as daily backup.
